Our Future Plans

Our future plans are exciting ~ we will have just 5 of the V.I.C Apartments which will offer your dog luxury, deeply padded comfy bedding for the ultimate in dog relaxation and pampering.

Since buying Westlodge Kennels and Cattery in 2006, our vision has always been to ensure we have the best kennel and cattery facilities in the country. We wanted to create much happier, safer, hygienic, loving and fun place for dogs to be cared for.

So, when we decided we would build a brand new kennels and dog hotel, we sought advice from experts and organisations who care for dogs, and companies that manufacture luxury kennels, to make sure we invested in the very best facilities.

V.I.C Dog Apartments will be filled with daylight, are extra-large and have stunning views over our beautiful gardens.

In June 2008 we were featured in the book Kennel Design which is the 'bible' for inspiration for those thinking of starting a kennels or cattery, and is available from every Amazon and online bookstore and bookshop anywhere in the world. Read article... This book is sponsored by Dogs Trust, and is written to help future kennel and cattery owners build the best standard of accommodation, and learn about animal welfare. The author's books are used in animal welfare and kennel and cattery management courses in colleges and universities around the world. We were chosen for the book because of our deep commitment to improving our kennels and cattery standards, our stunning location including our beautiful mature landscaped gardens, and to be an inspiration to other existing kennels and cattery operations who are looking to reach higher standards of accommodation and care.	In June 2008 the book Kennel Design featured a 6-page article on our kennels, and our plans for our new luxury kennels, and our new luxury cat hotel and boarding cattery which is now open in Cambridge.
