Deposit & Days Charged
We charge for day of arrival and day of collection. However, we make a concession of a half day reduction for pets collected by 12 pm. Your cats pen or kennel will be available from 9am on your arrival date and until 4.30pm on your day of departure. Any pet not collected by 4.30 will be subject to a charge of one extra day’s boarding.
Payment may be made by cheque accompanied by a cheque guarantee card, cash or credit card.
We reserve the right to revise our prices when necessary. All prices quoted will be at the rate prevailing at time of booking. All prices charged will be at the rate prevailing at time of boarding.
EARLY RETURNS AND CANCELLATIONS
We do not give credit for early returns you will be charged for the period booked
Due to problems in the past with no shows and last minute cancellations at peak periods (see below) we now require a £50 non refundable deposit for each week booked
All other periods a non refundable deposit of £25 per pet will be charged.
PEAK PERIODS
Our peak periods are all Half terms, Easter, School Holidays , Christmas and New Year.

Health
INOCULATIONS
DOGS must be fully inoculated against Distemper, Hepatitis, Leptospirosis, Parvovirus and Parainfluenza and must have had their booster injection within the previous twelve months.
KENNEL COUGH
We do ask that all dogs have this vaccination. Although it does not cover all viruses we at West lodge have found that the outbreaks have been far and few between since all dogs arriving have been vaccinated.
INSURANCE
Your pet is covered by our Pet Insurance whilst in our care up to our policy maximum. This insurance does not cover pre-existing conditions
Our insurance will only cover veterinary treatment for an illness that has occurred at WestLodge or that first shows clinical signs within 48 hours of leaving the kennels.
Receipts for veterinary treatment must be submitted to us within 14 days of the pets departure.
Here at Westlodge we can administer injections if required, and there is NO CHARGE for administering any kind of medication for your dog.
BELONGINGS
Everything your cat or dog requires for his/her stay here is provided. We have bedding, food dishes and toys. You are welcome to bring your own pets bedding or toys and as much as we will try our best to keep them in the condition they came in and not be lost in our large washing system we cannot guarantee that these will be returned at the end of the pets stay.
Checking In
When you arrive, please visit reception with your dog's vaccination records and items your dog will need.
All pets details are logged on our all-encompassing PetAdmin software including any special needs, vets details, medication and dietary requirements, and much more.
BOOKING
A non-refundable deposit of £50 is payable advance and deducted from the final bill.
