Westlodge is a very special kennels with a relaxed, friendly and informal atmosphere where the care and welfare of our Dog Guests is of prime importance.

We are set in the quiet and tranquil village of Great Abington in Cambridgeshire. Our boarding kennels are less than an hour from 3 major airports: Stanstead (just 20 minutes away), Heathrow and Luton.

As you would expect, every dog is brushed and cared for individually throughout the day by a dedicated member of staff who, we promise, will cater to your dog's every whim. By the end of 2008 we will have in place ISO 9001:2000 (British Standards Certification), and Westlodge Kennels will be the first in the country to have achieved this recognition for quality assurance. We feel that this shows our commitment to the high standards we aim to achieve here at Westlodge.

Our vision has always been to ensure we have the best kennel facilities in the country, and so we are very excited to announce our plans for building more first class accommodation for dogs:

Planned for late 2008, we are very delighted to announce that we are upgrading our boarding kennels accommodation to create high standard Dog Hotel accommodation. It's not just about looks, the improvements we are making will have a direct effect on the quality of time your dog spends here ~ and this is part of our vision for providing the best facilities for dog welfare in Cambridge and beyond.

These rooms will include classy holiday destinations, one of which is bound to be perfect for your dog, or your own favourite!

Traditional Kennels

Our Traditional Kennels are set in our beautiful gardens. A walk through the gardens takes you to reception and then on to our fabulous whole acre play paddock which is securely fenced for your dog's safety, and means they have the freedom to run and play off-lead in absolute safety..

Here at Westlodge we can administer injections if required, and there is NO CHARGE for administering any kind of medication for your dog.
